Sara Lomasto Lowe is an accredited clinical and holistic practitioner, artist and the founder of Sara Lowe Therapies and Art in Linslade, Bedfordshire born in Bedfordshire and of Italian heritage. Dedicated to health and wellbeing, Sara has worked within healthcare since 2001 and continues to devote her practice to supporting individuals through volunteering clinical services, education, mental health and supports her local community and nationally. Sara has always been drawn to working in health and care, motivated by a belief in compassion, change, and giving back to humanity.  She brings lived experienced, empathy and a deep human understanding to her work, consistently recognising that the benefits of holistic approaches can be integrated in clinical science.

Sara is known for being caring and intuitive, offering a calm and supportive presence where people feel safe, respected and understood.  Her work is informed by strong scientific foundation alongside holistic and creative practice, allowing her to support the whole person in a way that is ethical, person-centred, professional and spiritually grounded.

Alongside her clinical and therapeutic work, Sara is practising artist and integrates creativity into her holistic approach.  She places strong emphasis on the use of ethical and sustainable materials across both her artwork and handmade therapeutic products, reflecting her commitment to care, responsibility and wellbeing at every level of her practice.

A distinctive element of Sara's work is the creation of handmade holistic candles, which began in her own kitchen with the simple intention of offering clients something supportive to take away.  Within 6 months since that time and on demand, Sara now stocks her candles at The Wellness Hub, by Emma James in Berkhamsted, UK and directly from Sara “Sara’s impeccable calmness and attention to detail shows her dedication. She wants to help others, plus incorporating health with art is different and it really works. It’s Sara’s energy, knowledge and passion that makes it.”  Sam  

Her work has been recognised nationally through the National Health Service where she was a national winner for the Clean Your Hands campaign which featured across every hospital and NHS surgery in the UK.  Sara has received numerous awards recognising her dedication. 

Sara is an accredited member of the Royal Society of Biology, The Reiki Federation UK, The Complementary Medical Association UK, and is registered with the Association of Holistic and Complementary Practitioners, a UK professional body for applied professionals.

Artist, The Alchemist and Bespoke Fibre Artist

Sara Lomasto Lowe’s relationship with art began in childhood, growing up in Bedford, Bedfordshire, where a love of music and creativity shaped her early years. Her artistic ability was recognised at a young age, and she came close to receiving a scholarship, but though personal circumstances meant this path did not unfold at the time. Coming from humble beginnings, she continued to develop her practice independently, initially working in hyper-realism before evolving into expressive and abstract painting, where emotion, movement, and intuition guide the work. Alongside painting, Sara has a strong affinity for fibre art and creates bespoke textile pieces that add a tactile and grounding dimension to her practice, she was taught by her grandmother and great grandmother. Art and holistic awareness are deeply intertwined in her work; she consciously infuses her creative process with Reiki energy and intention, creating pieces designed to support wellbeing and evoke a positive emotional response. Her work has received international recognition and has been been showcased in British Vogue, Vanity Fair, London Life Magazine (Mayfair), Artists & Illustrators, and Pathology Magazine to name a few.  While remaining rooted in authenticity, passion, care, and a desire for people to feel supported, and connected through art.    Sara quietly works from her home in Bedfordshire, UK.
