Sara's Escape series in Blue, White is included are her recent drawings, contemporary sketches of still llife and expressionism. Escape 'Inhere' was last exhibited at Pop and Chops Gallery in Leighton Buzzard 2023/24.
Sara, it is not only a clinician but a Reiki Master and believes her intuition and engery plays a part in the making of her art and her feels are energy is installed in each piece.
Paintings
'Escape in Red'
Use of Acrylic and impasto, multiple layers of paint and lines. Sara say's it represents the multiple layers of the artists palette and sometimes described her paint palette looking more of what she wants to achieve in her paintings, more natural, unprovoked and unintentional. She says it relates that part of life, a connection between what is intentional and what we can't control or plan. The red palette is mixed to express the boldness of life and strength.
Sara works impulsively and intuitively straight to canvas and uses mixed media such as oil, watercolour and acrylics.

Escape in White
Escape in White, acrylic, sand and applied brushed paint layered with white and pale colours on wooden paneling. Multilayered paint build over the board with matt and gloss varnish, makes a dimensional finish. The painting reflects a reminder of calmer times, crossing bounderies. Depending on the light, the painting changes overcasting shadows. Sara plays with this and is lead intuitively and describes that this was a difficult piece to paint because it was emotionally based on everything beyond pain and suffering. She describes it as a reception of peace, sand reflects the love for the ocean and white for the colour of mourning of pain and the virtue of life.
Escape Three Voices
Escape Three Voices (2010), Winner of Artslant showcase, for contemporary art. Painted in oil, acrylic contains a cryptic message within the painting 'three voices' within the centre of the painting contain the message of escape and freedom. The painting was created by the artists reflection of her time in the city (London), This period of Sara's life was a dynamic and fast paced. Sara came from a strict and protective upbringing and saw the world differently outside from her old bedroom window.
