Thank you for choosing to receive Reiki healing. Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive energy therapy that promotes relaxation, balance, and well-being. Sessions may be carried out in person or at a distance — both are equally effective, as Reiki energy is not limited by time or space.

 What to Expect

During your session, you may experience:

 

  • Warmth, tingling, or gentle waves of energy

  • Deep relaxation or sleepiness

  • Emotional release or peaceful calm

  • Subtle visuals, colours, or sensations

  • Or simply a sense of stillness and balance

Each person’s experience is unique — Reiki will go where it is needed most.

 Before Your Session

 

 

To prepare for your Reiki session (distance or in-person):

 

  • Avoid alcohol or recreational substances for at least 24 hours before and after treatment.

  • Drink plenty of water before and after your session to help energy flow.

  • Choose a quiet, comfortable space where you will not be disturbed.

  • Remove shoes, loosen tight clothing, and open a window slightly for fresh energy flow.

  • Please ensure you are not operating machinery or driving during your Reiki session.

  • You may fall asleep during treatment — this is completely normal.

 During a Distance Reiki Session

 

 

  • You will receive an email or WhatsApp confirmation on the day of your booking to confirm the session will go ahead.

  • Be in a restful or lying down position at the time your Reiki begins.

  • Allow yourself to relax and receive — no effort is needed.​

 

 After Your Session

  • You may feel calm, emotional, refreshed, or tired — all are natural responses.

  • Continue to drink plenty of water throughout the day.

  • Rest as needed and avoid heavy physical or emotional strain.

  • You may notice gentle changes in mood, energy, or clarity over the coming days.

 Confidentiality & Consent

 

  • In order to have Reiki sessions with me, the booking form MUST be completed in full.

  • The information you provide is used only to support your Reiki session.

  • You are welcome to ask questions at any time.

 Completion

When the Reiki session has ended, you will receive a thank-you message from me to confirm completion.
